About Us

Andrew Colman, principal Consultant of Colman Petroleum Services Limited, began in the oil industry in 1986 working as an Inspection Engineer for a pipe Inspection company before further training in logistics and ship agency, gaining valuable general knowledge of offshore operations.

Following this, further knowledge was gained through joining a petroleum company, carrying out onshore and offshore wellhead maintenance while creating and implementing a successful
health and safety management system.

A period was then spent with a international oil and gas operator coordinating the maintenance and repair of 296 southern north sea wellheads.

All this before the formation of Colman Petroleum Services Limited in 2001 when Andrew began working as a Production Technologist for offshore surface & sub surface wells in the southern north sea.

Further time was then spent as a Petroleum Engineer for offshore wells and subsea wells in the Leman, Trent and Tyne fields.

Since 2005 the company has provided a range of services such as Sub Surface Development, Petroleum Engineering, Well Operations and Drilling, Production Technologist for Shearwater HPHT, Scoter, Merganser and Heron Cluster HPHT Fields.
